Background Information:

Tayba is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Tayba has trained in integrative counselling at the University of Leeds. Tayba’s approach to counselling is unique to you and your needs as she has a multi-faceted approach. She has also trained as a RE-WIND Trauma Practitioner and is a registered member of the IARTT. Rewind is a non-intrusive, safe and highly effective psychological method for de-traumatising individuals and can also be used for removing phobias. She is also trained in Mizan Therapy, which is traditional reproductive healing and is a registered member of the Mizan Foundation. Mizan uses traditional healing techniques to address conditions involving the reproductive organs, the digestive system and emotional health.

Tayba has over 12 years’ experience of working with individuals who have experienced/experiencing mental health difficulties, trauma and domestic violence. She works with individuals as well as with groups and has experience of working with individuals of all ages. Tayba has a trauma informed approach to all aspects of her work whether she is working with an individual or in a group setting.

Tayba is multi-lingual and is also culturally and faith/spiritually sensitive making sure the needs of individuals are met where possible. Tayba also facilitates workshops/ courses on Confidence Building; Self-esteem; Self-compassion; Mindfulness & Meditation and Managing Anger to name but a few. Tayba also delivers training on working with Muslim Clients.
